Gildenhorn Institute for Israel Studies’ Spring 2026 programming

 I am writing to share the Gildenhorn Institute for Israel Studies’ Spring 2026 programming and to warmly invite members of the Association for Israel Studies to join us for these events. This semester’s series brings together leading scholars, analysts, and practitioners to address pressing questions concerning Israel’s domestic politics, U.S.–Israel relations, the ongoing war in Gaza and its regional implications, and the broader reshaping of the Middle East. Through keynote lectures, policy conversations, and interdisciplinary panels, we aim to foster rigorous analysis and thoughtful dialogue at a particularly consequential moment.

All events are open to the public and will be held either in person at the University of Maryland or online to allow for broad participation. We would be delighted to welcome AIS members and to continue strengthening the intellectual exchange between our communities.
