Ben-Gurion Institute in Sde Boker, September 2-3, 2026

The Azrieli Center for Israel Studies, the Ben-Gurion Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, in cooperation with the Central Zionist Archives, invite researchers to submit proposals for the Researchers’ Workshop – בחזרה להרצל וליומניו במקורם  to be held on September 2–3, 2026, at the Ben-Gurion Institute in Sde Boker.

The workshop will focus on key topics in the study of Herzl and his influences, and explore the possibilities offered by the new platform Herzl-Online, which for the first time presents Herzl’s complete diaries and his novel Altneuland in the original German handwriting.

Researchers are invited to submit proposals (up to 250 words) and a short biography (up to 200 words) by April 12, 2026, to the following email: israelis@post.bgu.ac.il.
