The Department of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University invites applications for a full-time position in Modern Hebrew at the rank of Lecturer. Initial appointment is for the 2025-2026 academic year, and the appointment has the potential for renewal contingent upon excellent performance and instructional need. Native or near-native command of Hebrew required. Advanced degree required, Ph.D. preferred. Prior language teaching experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be teaching first, second, third and/or fourth-year classes (a total of 12 hours of classroom contact per week per semester).
